This is a pineapple update. We noticed today that there are little purple flowers coming at the base of the fruit. I didn't think that the fruit grew much but actually in todays picture it is 2 inches wide at the base and in the first pictures we took it was aproximately 1 inch wide. We are so excited about the pineapple, we are wondering if we should move the plant outside, because it doesn't get very hot in the foyer at work, we don't know if it needs heat to grow. It could kill it with a big climate change from indoors to outdoors. Any suggestions ?
That's neat! Maybe put it outdoors at night and bring it in during the day. Then gradually start putting it out earlier and earlier in the day?
